St. Timothy's Anglican Church in the Brentwood neighbourhood of Burnaby will be holding a casting call for a musical adaptation of Charles Dickens's "A Christmas Carol" on Saturday, September 26 from 1 - 6pm. This will be a production of the Diocesan Arts Ministry with proceeds going towards local ministry at St. Timothy's and affordable housing initiatives.
Rehearsals will take place on Monday and Tuesday evenings for performance on Thursday December 10, Friday December 11 and Saturday December 12 at St. Timothy.
Ms. Heather Robertson, co-producer, said, “This contemporary, musical adaptation of one of the great works celebrating the Christmas spirit aims to raise awareness of housing needs in our community.”
Young people between the ages of 10 and 16 who have an interest in acting, singing, dancing, or playing an instrument in the production are invited to audition. To arrange an audition time, please contact Heather Robertson.
