March 30th -- Money, Memorial Gardens, & Sacraments One of the Toughest Topics: Clergy and Talking about Money
In our March clergy day, we will be exploring the unique role of and issues surrounding clergy and money. Areas that we will explore include: our theology of money, the unique role of a clergy leader in financial matters and in financial stewardship in the lives of the faithful, reading and understanding parish budgets, the question of whether clergy should know how much people pledge, clergy discretionary funds, and the role of clergy in stewardship campaigns and in special or capital campaigns.
