Conversations for Community 2015

Over the course of 2015, Christ Church Cathedral will host 5 important conversations in partnership with St. Georges. These conversations will be about Spirit, learning, individual and community action, not necessarily advocating particular solutions.

“The collective wisdom in any given room, is exponentially greater than the wisdom of the person standing next to the PowerPoints”  Juanita Brown

Join us for 90 minutes of stimulating dialogue, learning and community with others from Christ Church Cathedral and beyond.

Conversations for Community 1

Being The Whole Family of The Creator
Brander McDonald in conversation with Alisdair Smith

March 18, 2015 in the Park Room
Christ Church Cathedral at 7 – 8:30pm

You are invited to the first in a series of Conversations for Community over the course of 2015. Each session will explore a particular topic and will feature a guest, in conversation with The Rev. Alisdair Smith, and small group dialogues about learnings, next steps and individual and community action.
The first conversation will welcome Brander McDonald, Indigenous Justice Ministries Co-Ordinator for the Diocese of New Westminster. We’ll explore exclusion, spiritual safety, belonging, and how do we individually and as communities live into being the whole family of God, The Creator?
Please RSVP to alisdair@alisdairsmith.com. We look forward to welcoming you to the conversation.
