FEATHER DANCE: Journeying

You are warmly invited to join us on the next steps of the Feather Dance* journey.  At this second gathering of the series we continue our hearts-and-hands contemplation on the themes of love and reconciliation, under the guidance of Indigenous artist, Rikki Kooy.  The event will include sharing stories, community hand work, and ceremony.  There will be opportunity for hands-on creative engagement at various skill levels, from beginner to master stitchery.  All are welcome.   Sat., Oct 20th 10am-3pm at St. Faith’s. Tea and goodies provided. Bring a bag lunch. Cost: $20-40 contribution (more or less, as able) to support the Feather Dance* project.  Tickets available through Eventbrite.

*The Feather Dance project is an Indigenous-led, Indigenous-settler collaboration in the co-creation of liturgical textile arts, which includes learning and relationship-building through storytelling, wisdom sharing, and community hand work. This project is made possible by a grant from the Anglican Foundation of Canada paired with the gracious support of grassroots contributors.
