Have you ever wondered if you might be called to be a priest or a deacon? How do priests and deacons discern that call? What kind of training do you need? What kind of work would you do if you were ordained?

At the day, there will be a chance to hear about the gifts and skills the Diocese seeks in its ordained clergy, a panel discussion with priests and deacons discussing their own processes of discernment, time in small groups, and the opportunity to ask questions. Additionally, practical information on the steps to ordination will be provided.

Anyone discerning a call to ordination, at any stage in the process from "just curious" to "postulant" is encouraged to attend.

We will be gathering in the main meeting room at 1410 Nanton Ave at 9:30am for a 10am start. Concluding prayers at 2:20pm.

Lunch is provided by a $10 suggested donation.
