Bishop Skelton and the Venerable Lynne McNaughton (a member of the Council of General Synod) will host two sessions to explore perspectives on the potential change in the marriage canon-a matter that will be on the agenda of our next General Synod in the summer of 2016. The meetings will be held on Wednesday, January 27th from 7-9pm in the Trendell Lounge at the Synod Office and Thursday, February 11th from 10am to noon at St. John the Baptist, Sardis. In these meetings we will be exploring our diverse perspectives, not attempting to convince others of the rightness of our opinions. In preparation for the meetings, please read the full report of the Marriage Commission as well as the Questions in the Study Guide.
