Opening the Eye of the Heart: Jesus and Unitive Wisdom with the Rev. Matthew Wright

This public talk will explore the unitive and contemplative wisdom at the heart of the teachings of Jesus.  We’ll look at the ways the Church has lost sight of Jesus’ own path of transformation, and how we can reclaim and reset it within an emerging evolutionary and interspiritual paradigm today.  Drawing on insights from Christian visionaries ranging from Cynthia Bourgeault to Raimon Panikkar and Teilhard de Chardin, we’ll imagine a Jesus-path for the 21st century.

The
Rev. Matthew Wright is an Episcopal priest, writer, and retreat leader working to renew the Christian Wisdom tradition within a wider interspiritual framework.
