A message for the Bishop of the BC Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ElCIC), Bishop Greg Mohr:
2017 marks the 500th anniversary of the Reformation and our Lutheran communities have been involved in a variety of ecumenical study sessions, worship services, and lecture series as we commemorate this occasion. We extend an invitation to you to join us for a Hymn Festival on Saturday, October 21, at 7:00 pm. We are honoured to be hosted by Queen's Avenue United Church (529 Queen's Ave, New Westminster). The Hymn Festival features hymns from across the ages, as well as participation by organ, trumpet, drum and choir. We hope that you will be able to join us.
