Living and Sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ

St George, Maple Ridge

A vibrant and growing family-friendly Anglican church where all are welcome.

Whether you’re a follower of Jesus, or you haven’t made your mind up about who Jesus is and what the Christian Faith is all about, or if you haven’t been to church for years and you’d like to find a church to call home we’d love to invite you to join us at St. George Maple Ridge.

We believe that Jesus Christ doesn't just offer us eternal life, he came so that we might have life in all its fullness now. So we are a community with a clear purpose to live and share the Good News of Jesus Christ both as we gather and as we go to those places where God has put us in the whole of our lives.

We meet for worship, prayer and teaching on Sunday mornings, where we read the bible and break bread together. We have a quiet and reflective 9am  service without music with a coffee time following which will allow for parishioners to touch base with those arriving for the 10am service. At 10am there's a lively service with music led by our praise band (we sing a mix of hymns and contemporary music).  During the 10 am service there is a "Discoverers"  group for children aged 2-5 (up to Kindergarten) that will explore Bible stories in a fun and interactive way, an "Explorers" group  children in grades 1 to 7 and a nursery where you can take babies and toddlers if you'd like to. Children are also welcome to remain in the church with their parents.

Through the week we have Lifegroups meeting in peoples' homes to study the bible, pray and build friendships with each other. Weekday activities include Baby Cafe for new-ish parents and babies, Youth Group and a Community Supper. If you would like to know more or have questions before you visit please do get in touch or have a look at our website.
