On Sunday December 4th, Advent II at 5pm a group of folks dressed up in "Christmas Story Appropriate" garb will take to the streets of Cloverdale, BC and participate in  the 6th Annual Surrey's Santa Parade of Lights.
The majority of the costumed group are parishioners of Christ the Redeemer Church in Cloverdale.
Rector, the Reverend Craig Vance says "We dress up in Christmas pageant costumes with a Mary and Joseph, sing Christmas Carols and invite everyone to our Christmas services."
The CTR group is not on foot they are safely positioned in the back of a decorated flat-deck that serves as the Christ the Redeemer parade float.
The parade begins at the Cloverdale Town Centre and those attending are asked to bring a donation for the Surrey Food Bank.
If you are heading out to the parade make sure you cheer on the CTR float.
