Caitlin Reilley Beck, Diocesan Missioner for Children, Youth and Families, has resigned her position effective December 31, 2017. Caitlin began her position with the Diocese on December 1, 2014. She will continue to work as a consultant while pursuing other passions and interests. Due to vacation time owing her last day in the Synod Office will be Tuesday, December 5. We wish Caitlin well in her 'next chapter.'

A Requiem Eucharist for the Revd Donna Kirkpatrick, priest, will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 29th, 11am at St Augustine, Marpole. Donna died suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, November 11th at VGH - the same hospital in which she served as Anglican Chaplain. Her obituary was previously circulated and is on theses diocesan website news pages. Please remember Donna and her family in your prayers.

The Reverend Clare Morgan has been appointed as Chaplain to St Jude's Home effective November 22, 2017. Clare succeeds the Revd Melanie Calabrigo.

The Bishop has contracted with the Reverend Andrew Halladay to be the new Leader of the Diocesan School for Parish Development. Andrew will continue in his ministry as vicar of St. Augustine's, Marpole and will take up this additional role effective January 1st. He succeeds the Reverend Marnie Peterson who leaves the Synod Office in order to focus on her role at St Brigid's congregation (Christ Church Cathedral) and to spend more time with her family. Marnie has asked that we let all of you know how grateful she has been for the opportunity to work with so many of the people and the parishes in this Diocese in her role.
