Camp Artaban has been running since 1923 making 2009 its 86th summer. The camp is always looking for new volunteers to come up for a week in the summer and lend their talents to an amazing ministry.

To become involved as a volunteer at Camp Artaban is quite simple: Check out www.campartaban.com to fill out a Volunteer Staff Application Form, then fax or mail it to the camp office. From there we will set you up with a director about volunteering at their camp. You will find a list of all the different camps we have and the dates they are running on the website.

Do you have specific skills that you would like to share with Camp Artaban? Are you a minister who would like to spend a week volunteering as a theme leader? Are you a lifeguard who wants to help out our on-site staff down at waterfront? Are you an art teacher or student who wants to lend your skills as a craft director? The website details specific ways you can spend your time volunteering for a week up at Artaban.

A regular day at Camp consists of activities such as climbing, archery, waterfront, crafts, theme, chapel, camp wide games, campfire, and much more. Training day will be provided for both new and returning volunteers.

Artaban is a truly magical place that puts both its campers and its staff into a deeper connection with God. Once Artaban has a place in your heart, it will always have a place there.

In the 14 years I have been coming to camp I have tried to give as much back to it as it has given to me, and yet I always feel that I am the one blessed by having this special place in my life. Thank-you and we look forward to hearing from many excited new volunteers!
