Many parishioners and people from the nearby community have been using the labyrinth recently painted on the surface of the parking lot at St. Clare-in-the-Cove, North Vancouver.

So far the labyrinth project at St. Clare-in-the-Cove (which we completed in early July) has been successful beyond our wildest dreams.

Yes, it's early days yet but we're extremely enthusiastic and gratified by the initial response.

The newly painted labyrinth was the subject of a lengthy feature in the local North Shore News this summer.

Reporter Joanna Habdank remarked that after a few seconds her mind began to clear and she was drawn to the centre almost as if by a magnet.

The Rev. Carla McGhie said that despite being mistaken for a crop circle by one person, people in the Deep Cove area have shown a lot of genuine interest in the 11-ring meditative device which parishioners painted on the surface of the church's parking lot in June.
