The Rev. Douglas Dittrich retired again April 11th after nearly ten and a half years at St. Columba, Pitt Meadows where he was doing “Sunday supply” and considerably more. Doug celebrates the 48th anniversary of his ordination this month. After studies and parish student duties in Toronto, Doug served for 13 years in the Arctic, 6 years in Diocese of Cariboo, and now more than 28 years in this Diocese. Doug and his wife Jean live in Coquitlam. “Well done!” to two faithful servants who should now spend a little more time pursuing personal hobbies. The Rev. Paul Strudwick (Regional Dean, far left in photo) will now be celebrating Sunday services at St. Columba.
