We honour Francis and Clare of Assisi as voices for treasuring the web of life in joy, beauty, and simplicity, in our times of climate crisis and environmental emergency.

We invite you to join with the Spirituality Beyond Borders and the Franciscan Dogwood Fellowship of BC, as the Most Rev. Andrew Hutchison, 12th Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada, will receive the life vows of our SBB Associate The Rev. Canon Jonathan LLoyd, Rector of St. Stephen, West Vancouver, as he is welcomed during Eucharist into the Third Order of the Society of St. Francis (TSSF).

We also invite you to join with our team of directors, Bishop Remi de Roo, Pearl Gervais, the Rev. Andrew Twiddy and the Rev. Christine Muise, as Andrew and Christine are welcomed as Companions of the Society of Saint Francis (CompSSF) ~ the Anglican Order of Franciscans (Province of the Americas).

Everyone welcome!

What do I need to bring?

Our "Simplicity" reception translates as this:  please pack a lunch for yourself (12noon), and we will provide a cake and beverages (12.30 pm)!

Anything else?

Yes, if you are unable to be there in person, join with the Minister Provincial of the Franciscans and with Franciscan Tertiaries around the world for the 10.30am Facebook Live broadcast and public posting of our service on the FB page "Andrew Twiddy"

And more?

This is a public event that is also part of the closing session of the upcoming retreat of Spirituality Beyond Borders, featuring an interactive webcast with Richard Rohr, Jacqui Lewis, and John Dominic Crossan.
