A Word from the Senior Port Chaplain

The Rev'd Peter Smyth, the Senior Port Chaplain for the Mission to Seafarers, preached at the 8.00 and 10.00 eucharists at Holy Trinity Cathedral.  Holy Trinity Cathedral has a long association with the Mission.  The Mission's first location in Metro Vancouver was next to the Cathedral on land given to the Mission by the Cathedral congregation.  This land was later sold to provide the funds for the location in the Vancouver Harbour.

During coffee hour members of Holy Trinity Cathedral had the opportunity to meet one of the people at the front lines of serving the seafarers who work hard and who risk their lives to provide us with the goods we often take for granted.
