DESCRIPTION:This sung service of Evening Prayer\, based on the order found
in the Canadian Book of Common Prayer (1962)\, Evensong is a peaceful and
meditative church service in the Anglican tradition. It is rooted in the m
onastic tradition and invites worshippers to reflect and find spiritual st
illness through the beauty of words and choral music.\nIn March\, Choral E
vensong will be replaced by Sung Evensong with the Great Litany. \nThe Gre
at Litany is one of the oldest and most powerful forms of intercessory pra
yer in the Anglican tradition\, tracing its roots to early Christian proce
ssions and Cranmer’s first English‑language liturgy in 1544.  It is a
sweeping prayer of the whole people\, moving from confession and plea for
deliverance to trust in Christ’s saving work\, prayer for the Church an
d the world\, and finally to the Lord’s Prayer alongside closing prayers
