  Reverend Lorie Martin\nThis study/practice circle will engage with Thomas
  Keating's teaching and practice booklet on Discernment. The praxis is 40-
 days of short\, but impactful daily readings and guided listening invitati
 ons that we will start on Ash Wednesday (March 5) along with a one-hour we
 ekly circle gathering on Fridays in Lent (beginning on Fri. Mar. 14 - Apr 
 11). On-line participants will join a live circle group via Zoom. Together
  we will flow through the stages of this discernment process with the invi
 tations to open to the Spirit\, listen for a question for discernment\, ob
 serve\, receive\, and walk out the answer that comes.\nDiscernment Booklet
 s can be purchased through Contemplative Outreach website\,\nhttps://www.

 d downloaded from Contemplative Outreach HERE \nThe booklet reviews the f
 ive movements of a contemplative discernment practice and invites particip
 ants to use their own real-life questions during this 40-day praxis.  Eac
 h day includes a beautiful image\, Scripture passages\, brief readings and
  a suggested practice\, as well as space for notes.  The booklet ends wit
 h an invitation to engage contemplative discernment as a way of life\, bri
 nging all matters small and large to the Holy Spirit and living with a dis
 position of deep listening and inner stillness. We will be with the daily 
 invitations on our own and gather weekly to deepen into the experience tog
 ether.\n\nI have found this process to be incredibly enlightening and a co
 mpanion to help me be still and know God's voice and guidance when needing
