 Martin\nThe Centre’s annual retreat at Loon Lake offers exquisite space 
 to come away and enter a sacred time of silence\, nature\, spiritual pract
 ice\, community connecting\, learning\, and creative expression.\nWith the
  backdrop of lake and forest\, you are invited to explore how we are belov
 ed of God\, how our creativity connects with the Creator\, and how awe and
  humility are connected. Come and experience a time where silence is value
 d\, community prayer is offered\, spiritual and theological teaching is pr
 esented alongside opportunities to discover and exercise your creativity. 
 Bring your open mind\, searching heart and curious spirit to this time of 
 reflection and renewal.\nThis year we have the joy of a ‘dream team’ w
 ith Peter &amp\; Thomas facilitating the retreat circle and responsive cre
 ativity.  Lorie will lightly guide a variety of spiritual practices. Spir
 itual direction/companionship is included in the retreat if wanted. The fo
 od and meditation paths around the lake are remarkable. Max 20 people.\nAb
 out our Facilitators:\nThe Very Reverend Peter Elliott was Dean and Rector
  of Christ Church Cathedral\, Vancouver from 1994 to 2019. He currently wo
 rks as a leadership coach and spiritual director and teaches spirituality 
 and theology at Vancouver School of Theology. Peter has served as Prolocut
 or of General Synod\, a member of the Anglican Consultative Council\, and 
 as Chancellor of Vancouver School of Theology. He’s an occasional column
 ist\, writing about the arts and culture in the Anglican Journal and co-ho
 sts\, with Nathan LeRud the popular podcast The Gospel of Musical Theatre 
 (https://gospelofmt.podbean.com)\nFor more than twenty years textile artis
 t Thomas Roach has been inspired by the power of cloth\, particularly when
  it has connection to sacred or community stories. He believes that becaus
 e textiles are steeped in metaphor and materiality\; are accessible\, appr
 oachable and always inviting\; they are uniquely suited for community enga
 ged art projects. For Thomas\, creativity and spirituality are not only in
 separable – they are both fundamentally about encountering the Divine. H
 is community work invites participants to discover their innate creativity
 . He is a member of the Order of the Diocese of New Westminster and was aw
 arded and the Anglican Church of Canada’s Companion of Worship Arts in 2
 021.\nRev. Lorie Martin is the Vicar at St. Thomas\, Chilliwack\, and the 
 Director of The Centre for Spiritual Renewal Inter-parish ministry in the 
 DONW. Lorie is passionate about creating sacred space and encountering Div
 ine Love through nature\, worship\, and spiritual practices in solitude an
