 al concert showcasing the\nremarkable journey of one of British Columbia's
  emerging young opera singers. At just 19\, \nNorth Vancouver soprano Kea
 va McCormack has already shared the stage with\nworld-renowned tenor Andre
 a Bocelli\, made her professional opera debut with Vancouver\nOpera\, and 
 emerged as one of the University of Toronto’s promising young vocalists.
  Her first\nyear at the University of Toronto exceeded expectations. She w
 as selected to perform newly\ncommissioned works by acclaimed composer Nor
 bert Palej\, and she was chosen from 144\nundergraduate\, master’s and d
 octoral vocal students to perform the featured solo in the finale of\nthe 
 university’s choral concert under internationally respected conductor Dr
 . Brandon A. Boyd.\nMcCormack will present Whispers of a Dream on Friday\,
  August 28th\, at 7:30 p.m. at the\nCathedral. The evening will feature op
 era arias\, musical favourites and contemporary classics\,\naccompanied by
  collaborative pianist and the Cathedral's Director of Music\, Dr. Neil Co
 ckburn.\nAdmission is by donation\, with proceeds supporting McCormack’s
  continued studies in the\nUniversity of Toronto’s Bachelor of Music in 
 Opera Performance program.\nDon’t miss the opportunity to hear Keava at 
 home in Vancouver before she returns to Toronto \nto continue her musical
