Advent is a season of reflection and joyful expectation. In this service of Lessons and Carols, the story of the coming of Christ gradually unfolds and deepens our understanding of God’s message of love and redemption. As we watch and wait for the coming of the Kingdom of God, the powerful prophesies and promises of Holy Scripture together with music that reflects on each Lesson's message help us to prepare spiritually, and quietly propel us to toward the true joy of Christmas.
