March 31 @ 7pm - April 1 @11am
Christ Church Cathedral, Vancouver

We will start with a welcome and Ice Breaker games. Drinks will be available too as you come in. We will then learn a little bit about Holy Week and Easter. We are then planning to get creative and make some Holy anointing oil together which will include infusing local herbs, branches and flowers in oil.

Next we will head upstairs to the beautiful Nave in the Cathedral for some worship and reflective and creative prayer time. The labyrinth will be out and we will have the opportunity to walk the labyrinth, get artsy and listen to some calming music while we focus on God in a calm space.

Then after some snacks the night will liven up for extreme sports, we will be hosting “The Amazing Race: Cathedral Edition” where youth will have a chance to compete in some wacky challenges at night in and around the Cathedral building.

To calm us down again and get ready for sleep we will watch a movie and set up our sleeping bags in the sanctuary space itself, where we can watch the city lights flash and change through the stained glass windows.   Bright and early the next morning we will be heading down to the ocean for sunrise at 7:30am, where we will have a short morning prayer followed by warming drinks and picnic breakfast in the park by the sea wall.

We will then be ready to head home around 10am.

Transit: We are right by Burrard Skytrain, and a bunch of bus stops, cross streets are west Georgia and Burrard.
