A contemplative opportunity to explore the scientific theories of evolution and ecology as a spiritual practice in a Christian framework. Together, over the course of the afternoon, we will pray with phylogenetic trees, meditate with microscopic organisms, and reflect on the relationships that connect us to all living things and, ultimately, to God our Creator.
Followed by Sung Evening Prayer.
Facilitated by the Reverends Cameron Gutjahr & David Taylor
Cameron is the Rector of St. John the Divine in Squamish, and the Regional Dean of Sea to Sky Deanery in the Diocese of New Westminster
