A day of quiet beauty, intentional listening, and meaningful connection in the beautiful gardens of Eden Drive. This retreat will focus on discerning the voice of God with invitations to encounter in the ordinary and extraordinary moments of life. There will be Listening Stations and one-on-one Spiritual Care. Lunch and snacks are provided.
The Reverend Lorie Martin
Lorie is the vicar at St. Thomas Anglican church in Chilliwack, a spiritual director, and retreat leader. Lorie is committed to the journey of love and healing. She highly values contemplative practice, creating sacred spaces, and gathering together in community to experience God in life-growing ways. Lorie is the inter-parish director of The Centre for Spiritual Renewal, and is on the Board of Directors for The Contemplative Society (Cynthia Bourgeault).
Eden Jersak
Eden
Eden Jersak lives in Abbotsford, BC and has been a co-pastor at The Bridge Church since January 2021. She enjoys "setting the table" and inviting people to come, and to partake, and to enjoy all that God has for them. Eden marvels at seeing Jesus in anyone and everyone, and loves hearing God's voice in the most ordinary and extra-ordinary ways.
Eden also feels called to expand the table, especially for those on the margins.
