St. James'

Situated in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver, we are both a neighbourhood and a destination Church. We seek to worship God in the beauty of holiness. We seek to serve by living a sacramental life rooted in the Anglo-Catholic tradition.

At St James’ you will find an inclusive, diverse community ready to welcome you. St James’ is an Anglo-Catholic parish, part of the Diocese of New Westminster, in the Anglican Church of Canada. We lead a prayerful, gospel led, sacramental life and welcome all people to our community and times of worship. St James’ Church is an LGBTQ affirming congregation.
