Evensong for Pentecost - Gift of the Spirit

On May 28, 2023 at 4pm, St. Mary's, Kerrisdale celebrated Evensong for the Feast of Pentecost and to honour the parish's Music Director, Brigid Coult and her over 21 years of ministry at St. Mary's. Brigid Coult is retiring and her last Sunday as Music Director will be Sunday, June 4, 2023.

The preacher was former Associate Priest at St. Mary's and current Rector of the Parish of St. Dunstan's, Aldergrove, the Reverend David Taylor. The Reverend Taylor is also the Director of the Centre for Spiritual Renewal at St. Dunstan's. The choir consisted of members of the Choir of St. Mary's, but was augmented by choristers from around the diocese. Following Evensong there was a celebratory reception in the parish hall.
