The second year of the Winter Youth Leadership Development program at the Sorrento Centre is now recruiting.
Young adults spend eight months on the main campus in a dynamic work-study program that engages body, mind and spirit. They take part in an engaging educational curriculum and and are paid to work half-time on the campus and in the community.
The first cohort ran from September of 2020 to May of 2021. It was a relatively small, COVID-compliant group - and they were restricted in terms of engagement with our wider community due to public health concerns.
Sorrento organizers are building on the success of year one and hoping for a wider community outreach in year two.
