A blessing of the marriage of the Reverend Joel Gahungu and Nadege Uwineza was celebrated on Saturday, June 4th with the Reverend Michael Batten officiating. Joel and Nadege were married in Burundi and Nadege and her their children Sarah and Eliezor arrived in Vancouver on March 23. Father Joel is connected to St Thomas, Vancouver. Felicitations!
Congratulations to the Reverend Charles Balfour and Monique Campbell who will be married at St George, Maple Ridge on the Feast of the Transfiguration, August 6. The Feast Day is important to Charles as it serves as a reminder of his roots in the Church of the Transfiguration in the Diocese of Toronto.
