Over the last year, local songwriter Jason Wood (aka The Forest Archive) has been working on a new album of songs for the season of Advent, called Always Waiting. Created with grassroots energy and vision, this project features 12 songs that range from the traditional to the contemporary, the communal to the personal, and include works both new and re-imagined. Always Waiting was made possible by generous crowdfunding support and a matching grant from the Sacred Arts Trust of the Anglican Foundation of Canada.

In what is so often a busy, frenetic, and distracting season, the music of Always Waiting invites listeners into an authentic posture of deep longing and prayerful expectancy, as we anticipate the Christmas mystery of God-with-us.

Always Waiting will be available for purchase on Bandcamp on Nov. 1 at  http://theforestarchive.bandcamp.com. It will be available on CD and all major streaming platforms under "The Forest Archive" on Nov. 14.

You're invited to join The Forest Archive and friends at St. Laurence Anglican Church on Nov. 14, 7:30pm, as we take a musical journey through the themes of Advent and celebrate the release of this album!
