The annual Bishop's silent retreat for clergy will be led by Heather Ruce this year. It will take place, as usual, at Loon Lake Lodge and Retreat Centre.

"Rest is a chance to gaze on God, to readjust our minds, realign our hearts, reset our priorities, clarify our commitments, and enlarge our perspectives." ~ Marjorie J. Thompson

Clergy offer themselves to others in service to God, yet often lack the space to tend to their own souls. The needs of a congregation are endless and it can be hard to know when, or how, to put that down. This retreat allows clergy to step into an unhurried space, set apart from the demands of ministry, and simply care for their own souls. Through prayer, silence, teaching, reflection, sharing, and unstructured time, this gathering offers clergy explicit permission to rest, to be tended to rather than tending, and to be nourished.

Accomodation at Loon Lake

Rooms will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis this year with one flat rate for all participants. The Diocese will continue to subsidize one of the two nights and all program costs.
