Spirituality is a broad concept with room for many perspectives. In general, it includes the interconnection of self, others, the environment and whatever we believe in that is greater than ourselves. It is a source of purpose and meaning.

Research suggests that trauma healing and resilience can be enhanced by developing and sustaining a positive, healthy, personal spirituality regardless of faith tradition (or the lack thereof).

  • Join us on beautiful Granville Island as we clarify the impact of traumatic stress on spiritual life and examine the role of spirituality in promoting trauma resilience and vitality.
  • Take some quiet time away to reflect upon your own spiritual wellness.
  • Explore a variety of spiritual practices, spanning wisdom traditions, that can promote spiritual wellbeing in high stress, high risk work environments.
