We are honoured to welcome Michael (Sabian) Rawcliffe, Métis/Algonquin artist, who will share stories and lead us in creating heart-shaped deer hide rattles. Sabian has practiced cultural art therapy in different settings. His work includes sharing culture with Elders and youthHe is a wonderful teacher.

Sabian reflects: "Rattles represent a connection to the spiritual realm. When I designed the red heart rattle it was for a class which fell on Feb.14th day of the woman’s memorial march and Valentine’s Day. In such my thinking was to represent love and connection to those women who have crossed to the spirit world, to the women in our lives still here and the missing and murdered women the march is in honour of."

You are asked to RSVP for this Feather Circle to help un ensure there are sufficient supplies for all.
