About this event

This event is brought to you by the Association of Anglican Musicians with the help of the department of Lifelong Learning at Virginia Theological Seminary

Church musicians and clergy are invited to join us for a day filled with information, inspiration, and fellowship. As we prepare for the return of in-person worship and choral singing, this year's virtual conference will offer practical suggestions, new repertoire, professional development, and glorious music. Panelists and presenters include The Rt. Rev. J. Neil Alexander (AAM Chaplain), Dr. Marty Wheeler Burnett (AAM President), The Rev. Barbara Crafton, Dr. Marilyn Keiser, The Rev. Erika Takacs, professional vocalists Dr. Lydia Beasley and Dr. Jacquelyn Matava, the Washington National Cathedral Choir directed by Canon Michael McCarthy, and Washington National Cathedral organists Tom Sheehan and George Fergus. In areas where COVID-19 infection rates are low, some local churches may be hosting small, socially distanced groups for virtual conference "watch parties."
