Saturday, May 7th, 10am – 12pm Raycam Community Centre, 920 E Hastings St

Tuesday, May 24th, 7PM – 9PM Grandview Calvary Baptist Church, 803 E 1st Ave

Now it’s time to start a new round of ‘listening’. We want to explore people’s experience around our four campaign issues – transit, affordable housing, income justice and social inclusion -- and check whether they continue to resonate with our members. We particularly want to engage the organizations that have joined MVA since the founding, as well as re-energizing all of our members.

A Listening Campaign is a focused effort to build community in a specific organization by giving people a chance to share their stories and concerns. Through one-on-one or small group ‘house meetings’ people are encouraged to talk about how they experience life in their community.

MVA member organizations are invited to send 2-3 delegates to one of these meetings. Please RSVP for one or the other at :  Help us to make ‘A Thousand Conversations’ a success and enable people to act effectively on the issues that affect them most.

For further information or to register, please contact The Rev. Margaret Marquardt, Chair The Eco-Justice Unit
