Members of Metro Vancouver Alliance's (MVA's) member organizations will gather on Family Day to ask municipal politicians from North Vancouver, West Vancouver, and the District of North Vancouver to make concrete commitments to deal with the affordable housing crisis on the North Shore.
Chair of the Eco-Justice Unit of the Dioceses of New Westminster, the Reverend Margaret Marquardt who is also part of MVA's leadership team extends an open invitation to ALL who would like to add their support for affordable family and student housing on Family Day.
"While the focus on this action with the 3 City/Municipal Councils are on the North shore, it is a way to show our concern for the need for affordable housing across the lower mainland.
