Here is the message that Executive Archdeacon, the Venerable Douglas Fenton sent to clergy and wardens of the diocese on June 1.

NATIONAL ABORIGINAL DAY OF PRAYER
This Feast Day was added to our calendar by the General Synod in 2010, as a day with Precedence on the Sunday nearest June 21. This year as June 21 is a Sunday it is to be the primary focus. The liturgical colour was not identified and so the traditional colours of the four directions (white, red, yellow, black), violet for repentance, green for ordinary time, or white/gold for a feast day are all appropriate.
