The second of two open sessions on potential changes to the Marriage Canon will take place at St. John's, Sardis.
Bishop Skelton and the Venerable Lynne McNaughton (a member of the Council of General Synod) will host this to explore perspectives on the potential change in the marriage canon-a matter that will be on the agenda of our next General Synod in the summer of 2016.
In these meetings we will be exploring our diverse perspectives, not attempting to convince others of the rightness of our opinions. In preparation for the meetings, please read the full report of the Marriage Commission as well as the Questions in the Study Guide.
