Spiritual leaders of the Watch House and members of Tsleil Waututh have made a call to faith leaders and people of faith and spirit to stand with them in prayerful opposition to the Kinder Morgan Transmountain pipeline expansion on their traditional territory. This is a call to active reconciliation work.

Arrive: 8am for marshal trainings and a soft start at the soccer field below the Watch House at 8505 Forest Grove Dr.
Once we are assembled we will process together to the Watch House and then to the gates of the Kinder Morgan Tank facility where people will have the opportunity to place tangible signs of their prayers—like rosaries, prayer cards, tobacco ties etc on the fence (without risk of arrest)
We will hear prayers from various faith traditions and some people will risk arrest blockading the gates.
Wearing signs or clothing traditional for your faith is appropriate and welcome. Dress for the weather and bring your own snacks and water. The day may go on as late as 4PM but you are invited to stay for what-ever length of time you can manage.
This is a child and family friendly event.
