On Wednesday, September 1, 2021, the Reverend Tasha Carrothers was installed as Vicar of the Parish of St. Mary Magdalene by the Venerable Stephanie Shepard, Archdeacon of Granville. The preacher was the Reverend Sharon Smith, Vicar of St. Catherine, Capilano. Prior to entering discernment for ordination Rev. Smith had been a member of the parish.

The parish is also home to the the Urban Aboriginal Ministry founded by the late Reverend Vivian Seegers. UAM leaders, Jesse Bear and Jessica Seegerts were present to offer songs of welcome and prayer.
