Bishop Michael forwarded an email received June 9th from the Right Reverend David Lai, Bishop of our Partner Diocese, the Episcopal Diocese of Taiwan .
Bishop David was expressing thanks for the letter of greeting that was sent from Synod.
Thank you for the letter of greetings sent from your synod on May 30. Thank you too for your prayers and support. We are very much looking forward to welcoming your Youth Team coming next month, and we trust that they will have a good visit to Taiwan.
I have only just returned from the USA after attending the CUAC conference, a visit to Boston, and then my son's ordination. Paul was ordained priest in the Diocese of Long Island on June 4th. I attach a photo here. Thanks be to Almighty God!
