We are delighted to announce that the Anglican Foundation of Canada has awarded the Diocese of New Westminster a $5,000 grant to support “Feather Circles: Indigenous–Settler Relationship Building for Reconciliation.” Envisioned and led by Diocesan Indigenous Elder-in-Residence Rikki Kooy, Feather Circles are gatherings that foster storytelling, cultural engagement, and meaningful dialogue.

The initiative represents an important expression of relationship-building and reconciliation within the life of the Church. The hope is that parishes will send representatives who can then share learning within their faith communities, and that parishes will in turn reach out within their broader communities to build or strengthen Indigenous-settler relationships and collaboration in reconciliation.

We are grateful to the Anglican Foundation for their generous support.
