A Christ Church Cathedral tradition again took place on Thursday, December 21, 2017. The Thursday before Christmas is traditionally the day when the clergy of the parish serve breakfast to the members of the 7:30am Thursday morning Eucharist congregation.

This year, deacon, the Reverend Jeffrey Preiss and his partner Richard turned the cathedral's kitchen into an Omelette Bar.

In concert with the made to order omelettes filled with mushrooms, cheese, ham, tomatoes and more there were copious amounts of fresh fruit and juice, a large assortment of toast, and Bishop Skelton brought gooey cinnamon buns bedecked with berries.

Assisting Richard and Jeffrey were: Reverend Ross Bliss, Reverend Helen Dunn, Reverend Stuart Mennigke, Dean Peter Elliott and Bishop Melissa Skelton.
