Camp Artaban is having a Visitors' Day on Saturday, August 23rd, 2014. There have been a number of requests for the board to provide an opportunity for folks to come and visit Camp Artaban, so we hope that you will be able to join us and enjoy a beautiful day at camp.

We will meet at Government Wharf in Horseshoe Bay at 9:30am for a 10am departure. Parking is limited in Horseshoe Bay, so please allow sufficient time. It is important to arrive at the wharf at 9:30am to allow time for checking-in before boarding the boat. Please be punctual as the boat does leave on time.

We should arrive at camp by 10:45am and then plan to have a chapel service starting at 11am. Following the chapel service we will have lunch (please bring a bagged lunch, we will provide water bottles juice boxes, cookies, coffee and tea). From 12:30 until 3:00 there will be plenty of activities such as a tour, sports, crafts, and exploring of the waterfront. Guests can choose their activities or enjoy some free time, or a mix of both. At 3pm, we will gather at thecampfire for some singing and activities before departing for Horseshoe Bay by 4pm. We should arrive in Horseshoe Bay by 4:30 to 4:45pm.

Registration is primarily online through EventBrite (https://campartabanvisitorsday2014.eventbrite.ca/). If you are unable to register on-line, please call our office at 604-980-0391 and leave a message clearly stating your name, telephone number, and that you want to attend Visitors' Day. We will call you back and arrange for registration by another method.

Cost for an individual ticket is $40 (to cover the cost of the boat). Children up to 2 years of age are free with an accompanying adult. If you have any questions or concerns about these times, activities, cost, or any other information, please don't hesitate to contact us at the camp office 604-980-0391.
