The Reverend Vivian Seegers ordained on January 21 has been appointed by the Bishop as Curate (1/2 time) at St. Clement, Lynn Valley under the supervision of the Reverend Lynne McNaughton. This appointment begins on February 1st. Vivian will continue to provide part-time ministry to the urban Indigenous community from St. Mary Magdalene in collaboration with an advisory group.  

The Reverend Ruth Monette has been appointed as Rector of St Stephen the Martyr, Burnaby effective May 1st, 2018.  Ruth will succeed the Reverend April Stanley who is serving as Interim Priest-in-Charge.  Ruth will conclude her appointment as Interim Priest-in-Charge of St Timothy, Burnaby on April 15th.

he Reverend Neil Gray, rector of Holy Trinity, White Rock and a priest in the Diocese of New Westminster for 30 years is retiring on April 30, 2018. His last Sunday will be April 8. Rev. Gray will be a "house for duty" priest at All Saints, Withycombe Raleigh which is located in the centre of Exmouth, Devon. 'House-for-Duty’ is an arrangement whereby a priest can live in a parish's rectory (or vicarage)  in exchange for offering priestly ministry to the parish, but without receiving a stipend.

Bishop Skelton has appointed Mr. Jerry Adams as Interim Indigenous Justice Coordinator while Brander McDonald continues to be on long-term disability. Jerry begins on February 13th.
