The Reverend Paul Woehrle, Rector of St. Cuthbert, Delta and Regional Dean of Richmond/Delta has indicated to Bishop Stephens his intent to retire November 30. Pastor Paul's final Eucharist as rector of the parish will be the Reign of Christ, November 26. 

The Rev. Eric Mason completed seven years of ministry as Rector of the Parish of St. Laurence, Coquitlam, September 24. The Reverend Mason, originally from Colorado, is returning to the parish where he did his curacy, Grace Episcopal Church, Bainbridge Island, Washington. The Rev. Mason was also Regional Dean of Tri-Cities & North Burnaby which leaves that diocesan leadership post vacant. 

The Rev. Carole Neilson retired September 30 from active ministry at Holy Trinity Cathedral concluding more than 35 years of diaconal service, 20 at the Parish of St. Christopher, West Vancouver and 15 at the New Westminster parish.

Vicar of Holy Trinity Cathedral, the Ven. Richard Leggett will retire December 31. The ministry posting and parish profile were linked online and circulated beginning Friday, September 29.

The Reverend Laurel Dahill, Vicar of St. John the Divine, Maple Ridge and Regional Dean of Golden Ears will expand her ministry to the Synod Office part time, assisting Director of Mission and Ministry, the Reverend Tellison Glover with parish development. Assisting parishes with the development of ministry plans and encouraging regional collaboration between parishes will be principal components of this new ministry.

Following discussions with parish leaders, the Reverend Jonathan Pinkney, formerly Interim Priest-in-Charge of St. Christopher, West Vancouver has been appointed rector of that parish by Bishop John Stephens effective October 1.
