Sunday Morning, June 19th, 2011 the Very Reverend Peter Elliott, Dean of the Diocese of New Westminster and Rector of Christ Church Cathedral, Vancouver paid the first part of his debt to his seminary classmate and friend, St. Paul's Boston Dean, the Very Reverend John P. (Jep) Streit Jr.
The two deans wagered on the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoff series between the Canucks and the Bruins.
The Dean of the losing city would have to wear the opposing team's jersey during the first Sunday morning worship following the series and send $250.00 to a charity of the victor's choosing.
As we can see in this photograph contributed by David Nash, Peter maintained an excellent attitude and looked pretty good in the Black and Gold.
