Earlier in 2020, Attorney Floyd Lawlet, Provincial Secretary of the Episcopal Church in the Philippines (ECP) and Chancellor of Episcopal Diocese of Northern Philippines (EDNP) contacted Archbishop Skelton’s office.  Attorney Floyd, a strong proponent of  the Companion Diocese relationship between EDNP and the Diocese of New Westminster suggested that the two diocesan bishops Bishop Brent Alawas and Archbishop Melissa Skelton do a sermon exchange. The sermons were video-recorded, posted on YouTube during the week of July 20, 2020 for viewing on Sunday, July 26.
