The Creation Care and Climate Emergency Group and Salal + Cedar are working together to support parishes in identifying and taking action on their climate goals.

Beginning October 3 until November 30 the group will be available to offer workshops to parishes that wish to explore how they might be able to respond to the call to care for our common home. 

There will be four workshop slots available. Parishes can pick from one of the following topics: 

  • Identifying Climate Goals and Making a Plan to Achieve Them
  • Emissions Reduction and Energy Efficiency for Church and Home
  • Restoring Wildlife Habitat with Native Plants at Church or Home
  • Climate Crisis as an Opportunity for Hope
  • How to plan and offer an Eco-pilgrimage
  • Bringing your Worship Outdoors
