Every summer around August 1st the property managers responsible for 401 West Georgia Street in downtown Vancouver, the current home of the Synod Office of the Diocese of New Westminster (in Suite 580) conduct a major fire drill.
They give everyone a clue about what is really going to happen because the unannounced drill always takes place on the official Ice Cream Day. This is the day when Oxford properties treats every inhabitant of 401 to a delicious premium ice cream bar, and live music.
