Title: Music Director
Reports to: Rector
Hours: 20 hours per week; to include Sundays and evenings as required.
Salary: Starting at $ 24.60/hour. Expected to be commensurate with experience and degree based upon the Royal Canadian College of Organists recommended salaries.

The Church of the Holy Trinity, White Rock, BC, Anglican Church of Canada, seeks a music director to participate in the continued growth and development of worship in the parish.

We are looking for a music director who understands the breadth and beauty of the Anglican tradition, appreciates the lectionary of the Anglican Church, and is eager to develop and support a volunteer choir and explore the potential of children and youth choir.

Ideally, the candidate will have keyboard skills and the ability to conduct from the bench.

Our church is vibrant and growing. The church has been in the community for over 100 years, and we have been worshiping in our current church since 1954. The church is equipped with an electronic organ with 2 manuals, draw stops and an antiphonal organ.

The choir sings weekly on Sunday Mornings, monthly at evensong, and on special feast days; rehearses happen weekly.

This is a part-time position estimated at 20 hours per week. The appointee will be expected to meet annually with the rector and church wardens to evaluate past achievements and explore a vision for the future. Continuing education funds are available, and vacation and benefits are provided. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and qualifications as described in the RCCO Salary Guidelines.
